Family Algarve: Five Days Everyone Survives Happily

Great family travel is really great logistics: one swim per day minimum, snacks within arm's reach, and no activity longer than a cartoon episode. This plan respects the format.

Days 1–3 — Beach-base central

Anchor at a family resort above Falésia or on Praia da Rocha: kids' club mornings, pool afternoons, beach before dinner. Slot one boat trip — glass-bottom boats and cave cruises run short, calm formats aimed squarely at younger crews.

Day 4 — Water park day

Central Algarve's established water parks deliver the guaranteed-win afternoon; go at opening, claim shade early, and let the wave pool absorb every ounce of remaining energy.

Day 5 — Island adventure

Finish with the Ilha de Tavira ferry — a real boat! — to warm shallows and ice-cream kiosks. Toddlers paddle the lagoon side, teenagers walk toward the anchor cemetery, parents finally sit down.
